After months of working on this book, So, I'm Dying, Now What?, it is finally completed. Many of you helped by reading through the rough draft and giving me ideas.
It will be available on Amazon in a few days for $8.50. I've just ordered a box of them for those who want to purchase from me for an autographed copy.
This is what is written on the back cover.
Having lived an active life, gained an education, served missions in Brazil and one in Chile, raised a large family, and worked, Providence provided a much different plan for me than I had for myself. A terminal disease took all my muscle strength, confining me to my wheelchair or hospital bed. It also taught me humility, patience, how to cope and let go. This book shares what people and resources are available and how to pay for them. My new plan gave me a new look at life, family, and even beliefs. It helped me become the new me. It also allows me to write, which I enjoy and keeps me out of my wife's way.
This is a must read for family, friends, and caregivers of someone who is disabled or dying. It will even help them through the ordeal.

My new novel, Tenacity, is
finally available on Amazon both as a softcopy book and as a Kindle book. This has taken a long time to write, even though a number of those years were
just putting it aside. I'm excited that it is available and can also be purchased
through me by sending a check or money order of $15 and your mailing address.

One Man's Unrelenting Drive Links Past to Present
Paul Merrick/Pablo Sandoval,
a successful businessman and husband, lost his wife, Janet, in an attempt on
his own life. Unsuccessful, after more than a year working with the Sheriff's
Department and the FBI, Paul decides to track down the killers himself so
justice can be served.
The trail leads him to
Santiago, Chile, where his estranged father is the owner of the largest holding
company, APS. He discovers the killers may also have attempted to kill his
father and destroy APS. With the help of Pilar, Sr. Sandoval's assistant, Paul
puts together a colorful team who have two objectives: find Janet's killers and
stop sabotaging of APS. Paul's tenacity puts not only his own life in jeopardy
but also those of his newfound family and team.
Just as the old church
withstands time and progress to maintain its place in modern Santiago, Paul's
tenacity unites the old with the new as he connects with his centuries-old
family and the history of Chile.

The most important thing that happened this summer
was a family reunion of all of our children and most of our descendants. This first photo is one of all of our children and their
spouses.
This is a photo of our entire family. There were a few grandchildren who could not get away from work and two who were serving on missions. In the background is the waterwheel from the Indian Creek Park in downtown Caldwell, Idaho. The sun was bright so many eyes were covered or closed.
The final photo is of all of our grandchildren in order by birth. You'll notice the one on the far right has a number 1 on their front while the one on the far left as a number 32. If you look closely you will see they are holding up pictures of the missing grandchildren. They are standing on the bridge over Indian Creek.

We love being together with our family. Since only a few of
them live near us, these family reunions are very important. We especially love
seeing the grandchildren and great-grandchildren playing together.
